"myDEER" Projektfejlesztési Workshop

 

THE INSTITUTE OF DOCUMENTARY FILM [IDF]

is a non-profit training and networking centre based in Prague, Czech Republic, focused on the support of East European creative documentary film and its general promotion.

IDF was established in 2001 by documentary directors and producers and its programme is therefore geared towards creative professionals.

The IDF programme is designed for filmmakers, independent producers and representatives of Central and East European broadcasters, as well as for festival programmers, journalists and the general public.

IDF cooperates with some of the most prominent European associations and training programmes, commissioning editors and distributors, and enables East European authors to take part in international cooperation.

EAST EUROPEAN FORUM

An annual documentary pitching forum. The East European Forum is the first meeting of East European documentary filmmakers and major European commissioning editors during which filmmakers and independent producers offer their proposals for production. Partners: EDN, Jihlava IDFF.

A documentary market for completed films from Central and Eastern Europe. It consists of a catalogue, online database and a video library. Partner: Jihlava IDFF. You can also send us your projects in development, if you feel you are ready to present them to Sales Agents and Commissioning editors in closed Industry screening at Jihlava. There is also interesting industry programme / one on one meetings, coproduction panels (Austria,Slovakia, Czech, Poland)
